Zbang! is a point-and-click interactive comedy, in which you play Mike, an average teenager who's only concerns are fun, surfing, rock and roll, and, hmm… oh yeah! Sleeping with his girlfriend – Jennifer.
To control mike's actions, use your mouse to click on the various items in his room. Left click performs the currently selected action, and right click changes between possible actions.
You can skip text lines by hitting the "." key.
You can use TAB to cycle through the various interactive items in the room.
To access the game's main menu hit escape.
To update the game, copy the files from the CD to a folder of your choosing on your hard drive, and then run the local copy of launcher.exe. You should probably update your copy of the game, as we make changes and improve the game every day!
System requirements:
- Windows 98/98SE/Me, Windows 2000/XP/Vista or later
- DirectX 8.0 or later (DirectX can be downloaded here)
- 3D accelerated video card compatible with DirectX 8
Troubleshooting for known bugs:
Game crash at start:
- Start by running the game in windowed mode, and check if your firewall software stops the execution of the game with pop-ups blocking.
- If the game still crashes on start, change the first line in zbang.ini from 1 to 0.
- If problem persists, try to delete dlltest.dll, and open your firewall to enable the game application to connect to port 6667 of our IRC server.
